This year, the focus of ARC South London's Active Involvement in Research event will be 'The impact of Covid-19 on involvement – what has changed?

This goes beyond practical challenges to some of the learning about, and through, involvement during the pandemic, which may also shed a wider light on research on health and social care.

There will be reflections from the experience of carrying out research during the coronavirus pandemic. Also, Beverly Randall of Mosaic Clubhouse, one of the community members on the NIHR ARC South London Executive and Board, will be in conversation with involvement coordinator Savi Hensman, about why and how research matters from communities' perspective, followed by questions and comments.

Attendees will then spend some time in smaller breakout groups. There will be a chance to share key things learnt during, and about, involvement during Covid, views on what needs to change and gaps which research could address.

The event will be held online via Zoom. All are welcome.
