Join this webinar based on a new book from Adi Cooper and Michael Preston-Shoot on Adult Safeguarding and Homelessness, which is part of a Knowledge in Practice Series supported by Research in Practice.
The event will focus on learning from lived experience, and be led by Carl Price, co-author of one of the book chapters. Carl works as a recovery coordinator for Change, Grow, Live, a national drug treatment charity. He has used his own lived experience of homelessness to champion co-production and trauma-informed practice in his professional work. In 2019, he won a Charity Film Award for his video ‘Carl’s Story’.
The event will also include contributions from Adi and Michael and will be chaired by Jess Harris, convener of this NIHR Health & Social Care Workforce Research Unit at King's College London Homelessness event series.
