In this project, we will develop, evaluate and implement new palliative and end of life care models that integrate beyond disease-centred specialities, with rehabilitation, geriatrics, social and primary care, and that are attuned to multimorbidity. 

This work will be informed by prior complex intervention modelling and evaluations.

Proposed outputs and impacts:

  • Platform for trials and comparative effectiveness studies, and their interpretation, into new models of palliative and end of life care in multimorbidity that engages patients, practitioners and commissioners at all stages.
