Mabadiliko, a community interest company is recruiting researchers to help pilot a model for culturally-sensitive and inclusive involvement research.
Mabadilko is leading this South East London Research Engagement Network (REN) project, in partnership with South East London Integrated Care System, King’s Health Partners, NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) South London and ARC South London.
They are looking for researchers and research teams who are ready and willing to embrace diverse perspectives at key stages of the research process – whether this is design, planning, delivery or dissemination.
They will help to prepare you for and support you through these conversations, which they hope will inform and enhance any patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) and/or community involvement strategies or activities related to your research. In parallel, their community partners will be enrolled in a bespoke research training and capacity-building programme – Community-powered Health Research, which will be launched in mid-February.
Selected researchers/research teams will be enrolled in a short cultural humility course (up to four hours self-guided online learning and attend a three hour online workshop (Feb-Mar) and will be expected to make themselves available for 2-3 meetings with community organisations over the period 1 to 12 Apr.
Please register your interest here no later than 16 February.
